Borland Used Machinist Skills Throughout Life.(Obituary)

Harry Borland was a handy man people called on for a helping hand.

He had a reputation for handling just about anything, from painting a house to tweaking an engine.

The Bosque Farms resident died Sunday in his sleep, apparently of complications from diabetes and heart failure, said his daughter, Noreen Borland of Los Lunas. Borland was 79.

A visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. this afternoon at Strong-Thorne Mortuary's Palm Chapel, 1100 Coal SE. A service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the mortuary chapel.
