2 Infractions Could Cost Driver's License for a Year

Bernalillo County's newest Metropolitan Court judge was recently ticketed for allegedly driving 99 miles per hour down a road posted at 40 mph, and it could cost him his driver's license for a year.

Civil Division Judge Frank Sedillo was stopped by a county sheriff's deputy about 11:40 p.m. Jan. 14 on Eubank NE, just outside Albuquerque city limits.

Deputy Larry Meeks reported that he followed the white Mercedes 400E Sedillo was driving for seven blocks before it pulled over. He issued two citations to Sedillo: one for allegedly going 59 miles an hour over the speed limit, the other for allegedly failing to yield to emergency equipment. …
