SANTA FE Three of the state's largest school districts rank from the middle to the top on two key tests for high school students, but the same districts also have some of the highest dropout rates, according to a report released Friday by the state Department of Education.

The 10th annual Accountability Report is a report card for the state's 89 school districts. It covers subjects such as student test results, attendance and dropout rates, school safety and parental and community involvement in schools.

Albuquerque Public Schools, the state's largest district, placed 35th in the state for the percentage of 10th-graders who passed all six sections of a high school competency exam on their first attempt. …
