UNM Offers Courses In Estancia Valley.

Several college-credit courses will be offered to Moriarty, Estancia and Mountainair residents by the University of New Mexico's Valencia Campus beginning this weekend.

Registration will be held on the first day of classes. Students can register at Mountainair High School from 8:30 to 10 a.m. on Saturday, at Estancia High on Tuesday from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., and at Moriarty High from 6 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday.

Tuition is $50 per credit hour, and the courses offered in Torrance County range from one to three credit hours. Seniors over age 65 pay $26 per credit hour. Books and lab fees cost extra, and all students will be billed after registration. …
