From Dopplers to pinpoint forecasts and futurecasts, it's getting pretty clear that local television stations are beefing up their weather teams.

And with all the recent winter storms, they've needed their meteorologists. But just how many weathercasters does it take to get the weather reported on television in New Mexico?

KOAT-TV, Channel 7, has four full-time weathercasters and a part-timer in radio personality Ben Walker. KOB-TV, Channel 4, has five weathercasters to cover its news, while KRQE-TV, Channel 13, has three.

Amy O'Keefe is the newest member of the Channel 7 news team, joining Joe Diaz, John Klevanosky and weekend morning weatherman Mark Ronchetti. …
