* Open Hands headquarters will relocate to the Rodeo Business Park

It's moving week for Open Hands.

The nonprofit group, which provides services for low-income, disabled and frail elderly people, opens its new headquarters Wednesday in the Rodeo Business Park on Santa Fe's south side.

In-house programs such as adult day care and a medical equipment loan bank are relocating to the new facility, as well as administration of the home-safety assessment, weatherization, volunteer home visitor and other community outreach programs.

"We're pretty excited," said executive director Liz Stefanics, who has presided over Open Hands for 11 of its 23 years in Santa Fe. …
