Limo Driver Recalls Hours Ferrying Murder Suspect.

* Days on the town and on the road didn't give Tonya Crews any clue that something was wrong

Justen Brandon made sure his toddler son and future stepson were buckled up every time they piled into Tonya Crews' limousine.

He made sure there were "Pinocchio" videos for them to watch.

And one of the first stops they made on New Year's Eve weekend was to Toys 'R' Us for a shopping spree.

That was four days before he allegedly shot and killed his fiancee, Melanie Frank, 5-year-old Malachi Frank and 17-month-old Micah Brandon.

"It's gone over in my head 1,000 times. They were a great couple. He was great with the kids," Crews said. "I consider myself a good judge of character. (But) there was nothing there to read."

Crews spent hours with Brandon, Frank and the boys during extended limo trips Brandon purchased on Dec. 30 and Dec. 31, the 38-year-old driver for Luxury Limousines said during a lengthy interview with the Journal on Friday.

She also spent several hours with Brandon during the late afternoon and evening of Jan. 3, just hours after he reportedly committed the triple slaying in room 1708.

Crews ferried Brandon, 23, to Santa Fe in a brand-new white Lincoln Town Car stretch limo, not knowing police were hunting for him and that co-workers were dreading she had become another victim. …
