Minister's Kindness, Compassion Recalled

The Rev. Leonard Kramer was a respected professor of international affairs who survived an attack by the infamous U.S. Sen. Joe McCarthy in the 1950s.

Kramer, a Presbyterian minister, lived in Albuquerque since 1974. He died Monday his 93rd birthday at Presbyterian Kaseman Hospital.

Memorial services will be held today at 2 p.m. at Sandia Presbyterian Church, 10704 Paseo del Norte NE with the Rev. Dewey Johnson and the Rev. Jaime Quinones officiating.

Kramer was best known for his teaching and for his kindness to others, said his son, Carveth Kramer, of Taos. …
