Taos Commission Changes Meetings.

New Time for Public Input Also Approved

TAOS The Taos County Board of Commissioners soon will have a new meeting day, as well as a new opportunity to study the issues. By unanimous vote Monday, the board changed its regular meeting date from Mondays to Thursdays and added a work-study session to its monthly agenda.

Beginning in February, the commission will hold regularly scheduled meetings at 10 a.m. on the second and fourth Thursdays of the month and the work-study session at 8 a.m. on the third Thursday.

The board also approved a suggestion by newly sworn District 3 Commissioner Gabriel Romero to move the citizens' forum a period for comment from the public to the start of the commissioners' meetings, rather than late in the meetings. …
