* Doctor allowed two men to practice medicine without N.M. license, prosecutor says

LAS CRUCES A physician who served low-income Dona Ana County residents has been accused of allowing two men not licensed as doctors in New Mexico to practice medicine on an estimated 2,500 patients in 1997 and 1998.

At a hearing last month in Las Cruces, a prosecutor for the state Board of Medical Examiners said Dr. Douglas Zischkau, owner of the Chaparral clinic while the two men performed examinations, should have his New Mexico medical license revoked.
