Give him credit for putting his tenure on the line in hopes of advancing his agenda for reform. Brad Allison, Albuquerque Public Schools superintendent, jumped into the APS Board of Education elections with both feet, sharing his views on what sort of member he would like voters to select.

Claiming it was his first foray into board election politics, Allison said his decision to share his views was a "kamikaze attempt to really change the system."
