Open Hands moves into new office.(Corporate Giving)

SANTA FE Open Hands, a nonprofit that provides services for low-income, disabled and frail elderly people, has opened its new headquarters in the Rodeo Business Park on Santa Fe's south side.

In-house programs such as adult day care and a medical equipment loan bank are relocating to the new facility, as well as administration of the home-safety assessment, weatherization, volunteer home visitor and other community outreach programs.

"We're pretty excited," said executive director Liz Stefanics, who has presided over Open Hands for 11 of its 23 years in Santa Fe. "We've spent three years raising the money to move into our own (non-leased) place. …
