Three-month-old La Fonda del Bosque still suffering growing pains

If La Fonda del Bosque were a young woman, she would look like the one to take home to mama. La Fonda's dining room is a sleek and lovely piece of architecture, with discreet essences of la cultura Hispanica. It is adorned with enough Southwestern touches, such as an horno fireplace and plastered adobe walls, to give the restaurant a sense of place, but not so many that it seems hidebound.

In all, a fine example of modern Hispanic style. We New Mexicans can be proud to show off the National Hispanic Cultural Center as long as we don't stay for lunch. Because the problem is, this attractive senorita isn't much of a cook at least not after being open for three months. …
