Who invited them to the coronation? The Ohio State Buckeyes women's basketball team rained all over the University of New Mexico's Women's National Invitation Tournament victory parade Wednesday night, rallying from a 12-point second-half deficit to beat the Lobos 62-61 in the WNIT championship game at the Pit.

The Lobos, who finished the season with a 22-13 record, failed to become the first UNM squad to win a national team championship in an NCAA-recognized sport.

But they succeeded in thrilling and entertaining a capacity crowd of 18,018 at the Pit. After the buzzer sounded with Chelsea Grear vainly trying to chase down a pass and get off a desperation shot, the fans began a chant of "Lobos! …
