Taos Police Seeking Help In Identifying Bank Robber.

TAOS Police are asking for help identifying a robber who took an undisclosed amount of money from Centinel Bank's main branch Wednesday morning.

The man entered the bank on Paseo del Pueblo Sur around 9:45 a.m., according to Taos Police Chief Neil Curran, pulled a scarf or hooded jacket up over his mouth and nose, and handed a teller a note to put the money in a bag.

"No weapon was seen and the teller said he was polite and courteous," Curran said.

Police said the robber took the money and left the bank on foot. They believe he had a car parked somewhere in the vicinity.

Police described the robber as a white male between 20 and 25 years old with a slender build. …
