Sportsmanship Seems To Finish Second in Las Vegas.(Sports)

Hell hath no fury like a Las Vegas fan scorned. Perhaps nowhere else in the state has the fine line between sports and sportsmanship been smeared than in that northern New Mexico town.

First, you have West Las Vegas fans tormenting referee Tom Meserve for a call he made at the end of a boys basketball game between the Dons and St. Michael's Horsemen in February.

Calling a foul on Dons player Robbie Lujan with two seconds left, Meserve to hear West Las Vegas fans tell it handed the Horsemen the game and brought to an end the Dons' once-promising season.

Next, a group of parents from the other side of town called for the head of Las Vegas Robertson boys basketball coach Henry Sanchez. …
