Lifehouse celebrates success with abandon

It's the kind of moment you expect only to see on TV or in the movies: a young band hears its music on the radio and celebrates spastically to the bemusement of bystanders.

But it really happened to 20-year-old singer/songwriter Jason Wade and his band Lifehouse.

"It was in Jacksonville," he said recently. "We were at a truck stop going to the bathroom. We got back in the car and we heard it, but we're like, 'It's just the CD playing.' And then we saw the numbers of the radio station on the dial.

"So we stopped and did the whole movie thing where you run around the car and get all excited," he concluded with a laugh. …
