Spring has sprung in the East Mountains, causing an avalanche of restaurant activity. First, the restaurant formerly known as Sandia Joe's Grill & Grog has a new name, is under new ownership and has received a "whole revamping."

Now called the No Worries Grill, the restaurant at 12129 N. Highway 14 in Cedar Crest serves breakfast, lunch and dinner and specializes in barbecued pork ribs and brisket. The new owner, Stan Salyer, an East Mountain resident, said he has been perfecting his technique for smoking meats for about 20 years.

No Worries Grill is open at 7 a.m. and closes about 8 p. …
