Famed concert pianist to perform in Santa Fe.(Arts & Culture)

Four years ago Richard Goode fans were disappointed when the eminent pianist had to cancel his appearance with the Santa Fe Concert Association at the last minute. He's played on the Music One series on a few occasions in the past and been well received by classical music lovers.

Fortunately, Goode returns to Santa Fe on Saturday when he presents an evening of solo piano works at St. Francis Auditorium.

On the program are French Suite No. 1 in d minor, BWV 812 and Partita No. 1 in B-flat Major, BWV 825 by J.S. Bach, Beethoven's Sonata No. 31 in A-flat Major, Opus 110 and a selection of Chopin's Mazurkas.
