OUT OF THE LOOP ON N.M. 528 AND RIDGECREST: Jan Lee called to point out that the stop line for traffic on N.M. 528 at Ridgecrest is so far back from the intersection that waiting vehicles don't activate the loop detectors in the pavement -- the sensors that tell the signal you're there and waiting for a green.
