OMAHA, Neb. -- Aaron Small pitched six strong innings Wednesday as the Albuquerque Isotopes beat Omaha 6-1 to complete a four-game Pacific Coast League baseball sweep of the Royals.

Robert Stratton hit his league-leading 28th homer as the 'Topes earned their first sweep in franchise history.

Small (3-1) did not allow a hit until the fifth inning. He went six innings, allowing three hits and one run. He struck out one and walked five.

Albuquerque held the Royals to seven runs in the series, a week after the Isotopes gave up 46 runs at home in being swept in four games by Omaha. …
