The things you don't know. A couple of wildland fires in the middle of the city, and pretty soon we're all aware of things we hadn't given much thought to before. ("Much thought" might be kind. "Any thought" probably is closer to the truth.) Still, for a few days we all became nature students. It turns out there are still things to know.
