Isotopes Reverse Roles With Royals.(Final)

OMAHA, Neb. -- The Albuquerque Isotopes have reversed roles with the Omaha Royals.

The 'Topes won for the third time in their last four games by beating the Royals 6-2 Monday night. That comes a week after the Royals scored 46 runs in easily sweeping a four-game series from Albuquerque in Isotopes Park.

Jason Wood was 3 for 4 with an RBI and two runs scored for the 'Topes. Abraham Nunez knocked in three runs and Gerald Williams two for Albuquerque.

Scott Sanders improved to 4-3 as the starting pitcher for the Isotopes. He allowed only two runs and five hits in seven innings.

Earlier Monday, the Florida Marlins purchased the contract of Chris Donnels from the Chicago Cubs organization and assigned him to Albuquerque. …
