Meeting Set to Discuss New Convention Center.(Journal North)

A public meeting has been scheduled tonight for residents wishing to discuss plans to build a new convention center locally.

The Santa Fe Neighborhood Network welcomes anyone wishing to discuss city plans to possibly build a new convention center, to take the place of the Sweeney Convention Center downtown.

The venture could cost upwards of $40 million. Concerns from some local leaders and residents have been raised about the economic feasibility of such a project. …
