The Santa Fe Opera will pay tribute to its late founder John O. Crosby at 3:30 p.m. Saturday in the opera theater.

The tribute will celebrate his life and legacy and the program will include soprano Christine Brewer singing Richard Strauss' "Four Last Songs" and remembrances by friends and colleagues.

Kenneth Montgomery will conduct the SFO orchestra at the memorial.

Crosby, who died in December at the age of 76, was the SFO's general director from its founding in 1957 until his retirement in 2000. …
