3 Fire Suspects In Custody Program.(Final)

The three teen-age boys accused of sparking the first of two Rio Grande bosque fires last week have been transferred to a community custody program.

Ricky Navarrette, 16, Fernando Anaya, 13, and Steven Sedillo, 13, spent their first night at home Thursday after being released into the Community Custody Program at the Bernalillo County Juvenile Detention Center, said Tom Swisstack, the center's director.

The boys had been in custody since June 26 on felony charges of negligent arson, conspiracy, negligent use of explosives and possession of fireworks.

Sedillo faces two additional charges of tampering with evidence. …
