Chad Morgan is one good cop.

He's the Albuquerque police officer who was driving through Arizona earlier this month and came upon an overturned SUV on rain-soaked Interstate 40 west of Holbrook, Ariz.

Unlike a number of motorists ahead of him, the vacationing cop pulled over to help the two people trapped inside, Tanya Haines of Joshua Tree, Calif., and her 14-year-old granddaughter, Daniele Haines-Brooks.

After Morgan got the youngster out of the car and his wife, Stormy, called 911 to summon help, he climbed back into the wreck to stabilize and comfort Haines, who suffered a broken sternum, cracked ribs and a collapsed lung. …
