More changes in Sandia National Laboratories management and policies are expected in the coming days and weeks in response to criticism over nuclear lab security.

On Tuesday, Sandia Vice President for National Security and Arms Control Dave Nokes retired at the request of lab head C. Paul Robinson.

The retirement highlighted other changes at the lab after an investigation by former U.S. Attorney Norman Bay.Additionally, Robinson announced in a news statement that the director of the Systems Assessment and Research Group, Patricia Gingrich, was reassigned to another group working on "evolving counterterrorism strategies. …
