Bird Walks Tour Sandia Mountains

The Sandia Ranger District sponsors bird walks in pursuit of birds in different habitats of the Sandia Mountains.

The hikes, every Wednesday through Oct. 8, are not difficult but last about 11/2 hours and involve elevation changes along established trails from 7,000 to more than 10,000 feet. Bring binoculars, a hat and water.
