Offensive Trappers Feast on Isotopes Pitching.(State)

The Edmonton Trappers arrived in Albuquerque late and put away the Isotopes early.

The Trappers' flight here Saturday was delayed two hours by mechanical difficulties. They arrived after 5 p.m. and skipped batting practice. But the Pacific Coast League's best-hitting squad still slapped around five Albuquerque pitchers in an 8-3 victory.

After taking three of four games at Central Division-leading Colorado Springs, the 'Topes returned home with a swagger. But this one wasn't much fun for the hosts, except for the three players serving as accomplices for entertainer Myron Noodleman's between-inning dance routines. …
