For the record, it does, and Vigil conceded Wednesday that he went too far when he ruled that no photos of alleged sex crime victims could be published -- regardless of where those photos might be taken.

But Thursday he signed an order drafted by Attorney General Patricia Madrid's office that prohibits broadcast or publication of images of an Espanola judge's alleged victims.

Municipal Judge Charles Maestas was found guilty Thursday on 10 counts related to exchanging judicial favors for sex, and faces up to 45 years in prison. …
