Boys Tired After Basketball Camp

The Moriarty High boys basketball team squandered a 13-point lead and suffered a tough 44-43 setback at the hands of host Albuquerque High in a Metro Summer League game Tuesday at Jefferson Middle School.

"We're still up by eight at half, but our legs just gave out in the last five minutes," said Moriarty coach Randy Lykins.

The Pintos were no doubt a bit fatigued. Summer shooting camp was held at Moriarty Middle School gym Monday through today from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day.
