Agreement Goes To City Council

Albuquerque city councilors are considering an agreement that would provide for the perpetual operation of the Casa San Ysidro museum at Corrales.

Councilors are expected to take up the issue next week.

The agreement would involve the city, Corrales, Sandoval County and New Mexico state government.

Under terms of the agreement, the cost of operations would be shared by Albuquerque, Corrales and Sandoval County. The state would examine possibilities for helping.

The agreement says the cost would be $195,000 in the fiscal year that begins July 1, and "this amount will be adjusted and negotiated annually thereafter. …
