Isotopes Keep Scoring, Edge 'Hawks.(State)

Sean Bergman can get no relief, but the Albuquerque Isotopes finally did.

It came from third baseman Jason Wood, whose two-run single in the eighth inning provided the final lead, and pitcher Blaine Neal, who then closed down Oklahoma in a seesaw 10-9 victory over the RedHawks on Thursday night at Isotopes Park.

Wood, whose immediate future seemed tied to the parent Florida Marlins' attempts to trade Mike Lowell, was put on the spot after an intentional walk to Derek Wathan loaded the bases with two outs. He immediately took a Dan Murray (3-6) delivery back up the middle.
