New Eagle Scouts Worked Their Way to Honor.(West Side Journal)

After earning 21 badges, moving up six ranks, and volunteering for more than 1,000 hours of community service, nine Boy Scouts advanced to the rank of Eagle Scout.

They are Rich Balmer, Kirk Davenport, Braden Fraser, Jeremy Fraser, Jesse Sprague, Eric Wagner, Arthur Weagel, Joseph Weagel of Albuquerque Boy Scout Troop 750 and James Colovos of Troop 777.

Scout master Dale Balmer said this is the largest number of scouts advancing to Eagle rank under his direction.

Until now, Balmer said he has seen about two of his scouts become Eagle Scouts. He said nine scouts obtaining Eagle rank is a rare event. …
