DA Had No Case Against Teacher.(Journal North)

A former Santa Fe school teacher accused of molesting students never faced similar charges in Tucumcari, despite allegations in 1998, because the evidence was not there, said former 10th Judicial District Attorney Patricia Parke.

Santa Fe school officials have said they knew nothing of a May 2000 civil lawsuit filed by Albuquerque attorney Bill Gralow, in which two of Ernest Dominguez's former students at Granger Elementary School in Tucumcari accused him of repeatedly, inappropriately touching them in spring 1998.

Dominguez, now 30, moved in August 1999 to Salazar Elementary School in Santa Fe, from which he resigned in January. …
