Stratton, Williams Provide Long-Ball

Gerald Williams provided the early scoring, but it was big Rob Stratton who came up with the big stroke for the Albuquerque Isotopes Monday night.

Williams had two solo homers early in the game, and Stratton hit a three-run homer in the eighth to give Albuquerque a 13-10 win over the Oklahoma RedHawks at Isotopes Park in a Pacific Coast League game.

In front of a crowd of 6,954, the 'Topes staged their biggest comeback of the season. After the RedHawks scored seven runs in the second inning and two more in the third, Albuquerque trailed 9-2.

The Isotopes came up with three runs in the fourth, three in the sixth and four more with the help of Stratton's bazooka shot in the eighth. …
