* Play has murder, violence but creators insist it's funny

It's a play about a stalker who relentlessly pursues his victim, but it's funny. Really, it is.

At least that's what actor and Flaming Mouse Productions co-president Daniel T. Cornish says about "Stained," which will make its world premiere Thursday at the Outpost Performance Space.

Cornish plays the stalker, Henry, who sincerely thinks that stalking is the way to win the heart of his crush, Pearl. He follows her everywhere, spying on her at work and home and collecting her discarded items. Pearl doesn't even know he exists.

Henry also has an alter ego named Hank, who is played by Brian Keith Gamble. …
