Delay Doesn't Slow Albuquerque Bats

With one a towering shot, one a hard-hit line drive and one that didn't even get over the fence, the Albuquerque Isotopes used three home runs to win Wednesday night.

Albuquerque beat division-leading Colorado Springs 13-9 at Isotopes Park for its second win in a row in the Pacific Coast League.

In a game that lasted 3 hours and 11 minutes -- not counting a 35-minute delay for a partial blackout -- the Isotopes pounded out 14 hits. That's a far cry from their recent eight-game road trip when they went 2-6 and didn't score more than two runs in any game.
