One Expanding Store Signs On

Ta Lin supermarket has been a fixture in the Southeast Heights for years. Now, its expansion and new location will anchor a proposed International Marketplace -- a multi-cultural shopping, eating and entertainment location that would be a "unique area in Albuquerque," city officials said.

"We wanted to make this area a destination -- to go to far away places; to try foods from different lands," said Ralph Mims, a planner with Albuquerque Development Services, the city's redevelopment office.
