METAIRIE, La. -- The Albuquerque hitters never found their groove in the city of jazz.

Three New Orleans pitchers combined on a seven-hit shutout as the Zephyrs defeated the Isotopes 2-0 on Thursday night in the finale of a four-game set in Pacific Coast League baseball.

For the series, New Orleans outscored Albuquerque 11-3 and blanked the 'topes twice, winning three of the games.

Sean Bergman was the hard-luck Albuquerque pitcher, working six shutout innings before being lifted for a pinch-hitter in the seventh. …
