Festival singer's music celebrates vibrancy of women.(Venue)

Rachael Sage is tired. The singer whose music has been described as "earthiness, color and emotion" has been on tour for a year, taking a short break only to record a new CD, "Public Record," which will be released in August.

"We were all so overworked and stressed out leading up to this tour," said Sage from Los Angeles. "So we're trying to imagine this as a vacation. Whenever everyone feels stressed we recite the mantra 'Slow Down Spring Tour.' And it seems to be working."

Sage will bring her "Slow Down Spring Tour" to Albuquerque over the Memorial Day holiday, where she's hoping to find a few minutes to relax while performing at WIMINFEST at the KiMo. …
