METAIRIE, La. -- A bases-loaded sacrifice fly by Rob Stratton in the 10th inning gave the Albuquerque Isotopes a 2-1 win over the New Orleans Zephyrs on Wednesday night in Pacific Coast League baseball.

The Isotopes had scored one run in 24 innings against the Zephyrs and trailed 1-0 going into the seventh inning.

Derek Wathan singled, and Wilson Valdez moved him to third on a single. A balk was called on Zephyrs pitcher Miguel Saladin, scoring Wathan with the tying run.

In the 10th, Gerald Williams walked, Kevin Hooper singled and Jason Wood walked to load the bases. Stratton, who leads the PCL in RBI, hit a long flyout to center, scoring Williams with the winning run. …
