A night janitor at Roosevelt Middle School told police "it seemed like a dream" while allegedly helping to move the body of a slain Las Vegas, N.M., woman to a shallow grave near Anton Chico.

Arturo Quesada, 39, a janitor at the East Mountains middle school since 1997, was arrested Monday on allegations that he helped hide the body of 21-year-old Denise Garduno of Las Vegas.

Quesada was taken into custody by State Police at his home in the East Mountains and booked into the Guadalupe County Correctional Facility in Santa Rosa on charges of evidence tampering, conspiracy and contributing to the delinquency of a minor, said State Police spokesman Lt. …
