Boxer, businessman, historian -- Danny Romero Jr. is a little bit of all three.

However, it's the former and the latter he'll be concentrating on when he enters the ring Friday night against Trinidad Mendoza.

At stake in the Sandia Casino amphitheater will be the International Boxing Association's junior featherweight (122-pound) championship.

The IBA is one of the lesser-lights of the alphabet organizations that keep boxing fans playing the "who's the champ?" game.
