UNLV's junior first baseman is a walking, talking, touring reminder of the wonder of genetics.

Fernando Valenzuela, 5 feet, 11 inches and 210 pounds, looks like his famous dad, down to his famously stocky build. He also bats and throws lefty.

And most of all, he seems to have a future in baseball.

But Fernando Valenzuela Sr., the former Los Angeles Dodgers pitching great, sees differences other than position.
