Managers of a company famous for its sense of humor went too far when they faked the arrest of an employee at Albuquerque International Sunport, claims a federal lawsuit.

A complaint filed on behalf of Southwest Airlines customer service representative Marcie Fuerschbach says city aviation police officers handcuffed her at the Southwest ticket counter last August as part of a prank to mark her completion of probationary employment.

The complaint seeks unspecified monetary damages from Southwest, the city of Albuquerque, three unnamed police officers, Southwest supervisor Tina Marie Tapia and former Southwest manager Michael Santiago. …
