During the weekend, the city celebrated its 10th annual Community Days Festival through a number of activities and events at the Plaza.

On Sunday, people listened to samba and blues music and ate roasted corn. Samba Fe band members Craig Small shook the ganzas and Eric Gent beat a surdo as they marched around the Plaza playing music as part of the celebration.

Also enjoying the festivities was Luci Loo, a tufted weeper Capuchin monkey who came with owner Cynthia Petti.

The festival started Friday evening and featured traditional European and northern New Mexico dances. …
