Isotopes Bounce Back With Bats To Topple Cubs.(Final)

Whether they found a cure or merely treated symptoms, the Albuquerque Isotopes were feeling a lot better Tuesday night.

One game after stranding a season-high 10 runners on base in a one-run defeat, Albuquerque drove home six runs with two-out hits in an 8-6 win over the Iowa Cubs in Pacific Coast League play at Isotopes Park.

"At this level, we all know what we have to do. We don't have to talk about it," said Kevin Hooper, who brought home three of those runs in the sixth inning with an inside-the-park home run, the first in 'Topes history.

Hooper's shot was a liner that skipped under left fielder Midre Cummings' diving attempt. …
