Twenty years ago punk rock was a statement an underground movement, far from the mainstream. In Christian music circles, punk was virtually nonexistent. Today, punk rock is a trend in Christian and non-Christian industries, with songs played adjacent to the latest pop hit on radio stations.

For the last 10 years, Dogwood has ignored the trends and buzz that punk has generated, diligently touring, releasing records, and varying little from their initial rapid-fire delivery. They have steered clear of the commercialism and contrivance of many new punk bands, with a blue-collar, no-frills approach to music. …
